Knoxville Summer Art Camps

Enrollment is now open for the Fall 2026 Art Session for Kids & Teens!

Professional artist & Elementary Art Teacher, Miss Shelley, offers creative 3-day Summer Art Camps and 2 hour Friday or Saturday Workshops in her Art Studio at Smart Toys & Books in West Knoxville. These fun Summer Events educate, inspire, and entertain kids as they design impressive Art that is filled with creative individual expression!

Enjoy a fun and creative Summer art class taught by professional artist and elementary art teacher, Ms. Shelley, in her Art Studio at Smart Toys & Books on Fridays or Saturdays!

Artists (ages 5-11) will explore their creativity by making an impressive painting on canvas and a unique clay creation, all inspired by a fun theme and guided art lesson. Also available are Jewelry & Gem Making, colorful Soap Making, and Mosaic Birdhouse classes! Each masterpiece will be ready to take home the same day.

Attend one or try them all for an immersive art experience (these are drop off events, if attending morning and afternoon classes on Friday please pack a nut-free lunch for a picnic break from 12-12:25!)

In these popular 3-day Summer Art Camps taught by professional artist and elementary art teacher, Ms. Shelley, kids enjoy exciting themes in a fun and creative environment as they discover, play, and learn fine art techniques. Artists (ages 5-11) will design several wall worthy masterpieces as they paint on canvas, create with clay, and other exciting mixed media art materials!

Attend one or try them all for an immersive art experience (if attending morning and afternoon camps please pack a nut-free, easy to eat lunch for a picnic break from 12-12:25!) Seats are limited!

Creative Art Classes & Summer Art Camps with Miss Shelley are a favorite "Fun Activity for Kids in Knoxville!"
She teaches Fine Art Enrichment in school, for local Art programs, taught the Pro Golfers kids on the PGA Tour, and was a featured Art Instructor on the Living East Tennessee TV show with Kelli Smith & Erin Barnett, ABC/WATE, Knox News, WVLT, Macaroni Kid, Knoxville Moms, Little Ones, and City Lifestyle Magazine.
