Kids Creative Art Studio Hour
Enjoy a fun hour of creative art with professional Artist & Elementary Art Teacher, Ms. Shelley, in her Art Studio at Smart Toys & Books! Kids (ages 5-11) will be able to choose the project they would like to create using quality art supplies. All projects are able to go home the same day!
Choices include:
-glow art, spin art, or canvas painting
-design a mosaic flowerpot, butterfly, or birdhouse
-make super slime with a creative art jar
-paint an adorable ceramic animal figurine

Teen Creative Art Studio Hour
Artists, ages 10-14 will be working on individual painting, clay, and mosaic projects based on their personal interests and creative ideas. They will have the opportunity to choose the masterpiece they would like to design using a variety of high-quality art supplies, while Ms. Shelley, a professional artist and art teacher, provides expert guidance to help bring their visions to life.
Options available:
-Canvas Painting
-Clay sculptures with Italian clay or polymer clay
-Mosaic Art
-Glow Art
-Canvas Paint Pour or spin art
-Students attending multiple classes during the summer can work on long-term projects and have access to the 3D printers to design custom pieces to put into their artwork!

Artist & Elementary Art Teacher, Miss Shelley, offers creative Summer Art Camps and Classes that educate, inspire, and entertain kids as they design impressive wall worthy Art that is filled with creative individual expression!
In these popular Camps, Artists enjoy exciting themes as they discover, play, and learn fine art techniques while creating with paint, clay, mosaics, 3D printing, and mixed media art materials. Camps meet in the kid friendly Creative Art Studio at Smart Toys & Books in West Knoxville (a few minutes from Costco and Turkey Creek)
Kids can sign up for multiple camps for an immersive Art experience!

Kids Creative Clay Classes: My students absolutely love this class as they get to work with various kinds of hand building and sculpting clay, texture rollers, and clay tools to create a fun variety of sculptures, bowls, and creatures. They will create several projects during the semester that involve kiln firing and glazing, learning how to use armature for sculptures, and how to add mixed media art materials to add details and individual creativity to their clay masterpieces!
Kids Painting & Mixed Media Art Classes: Students will create impressive projects as they paint with Artist level paints on canvas and wood, create using oil pastels and watercolors, spin art, and with mixed media materials as they learn cool Art History and Fine Art techniques in this fun class.
STEAM Classes (Science +Art): Students will spark their imagination and creativity as they learn how to create through experimenting, and learn about science, tech, engineering, and math and how it relates to art. This includes the study of animals, nature, creating geometric and dimensional Art, how buildings and sculptures are designed, mixing cool recipes, adding different textures into paint, and the science behind using gravity and spin techniques in art. Students will create with paint, clay, paper mâché, fiber arts, and mixed media art materials in this class.
Homeschool Creative Art Classes: Students will make impressive projects as they explore with paint on canvas and wood, create using oil pastels and watercolors, make creations with clay, and design masterpieces with mixed media art materials while learning about cool Art History and Fine Art techniques in this fun class!
