Saturday Drop In Art (ages 10-15)
Artists (ages 10-15) will be working on individual projects based on their personal interests and creative ideas. They will be able to choose the masterpiece they would like to design using a variety of high-quality art supplies while Ms. Shelley, a professional artist and art teacher, provides expert guidance to help bring their visions to life! This is a safe and encouraging studio space for older students to create works of art that can be entered into art shows and added to their art portfolios, or where they can come to learn new art techniques and make some very cool art!
One class project options include:
- Canvas Painting
- Clay sculptures and Clay hand building with Italian clay
- Mosaic flowerpots, birdhouses, and wood shapes
- Glow in the dark art
- Canvas paint pour & spin art
Extended Projects
Students attending multiple classes can work on long-term projects and have access to the 3D printer and polymer clay to design custom pieces to incorporate into their artwork.
Class meets in Ms. Shelley's Art Studio inside Smart Toys & Books in West Knoxville. Tuition is $20 per class for online sign ups ($5 discount if paying by cash/check, please RSVP by text (865) 440-3729 or email [email protected] to pay in class as seats are limited!)
