Sat, Feb. 7th (4-5 pm) Family Art Class: Creative Clay Bowls!
A creative and fun Family art class taught by professional Artist & Art Teacher, Ms. Shelley, at the Creative Art Studio inside Smart Toys & Books!
Learn how to make a cool heart shaped bowl using a variety of techniques (pinch pot, coil, and textured) using an Italian clay that forms like pottery clay but does not shatter when dry! These bowls will need a few days to dry at your home and then they can be painted (students will be able to pick out their favorite paint colors to take home along with 2 paintbrushes) If you prefer to create hanging hearts instead of a bowl I have the coolest texture rollers and heart shaped cutters in different sizes available!
Quality Art supplies are included, please dress to be creative. These will be packaged up for transport so they can go home the same day!
This is a Family Event for Kids ages 4+ and the adults will get to create a clay bowl too! Due to the studio set up and clay from my weekly classes on the drying racks, children under the age of 4 are unable to attend (I'm so sorry!)
Each person attending this fun class will need to purchase a seat as they are limited (2 people attending=2 QTY)
