Ms. Shelley, an experienced Elementary Art Teacher, will spark imagination and creativity in your child as they study animals, create geometric and dimensional Art, learn how buildings and sculptures are designed, mix cool art recipes, and learn the science behind using gravity and spin techniques in art. Students will create with paint, clay, paper mâché, and mixed media art materials in this class. Quality supplies and instruction are included, ensuring a fantastic creative experience.


  • Classes are held at the Creative Art Studio inside Smart Toys & Books
  • The Spring 2026 Session starts February 3rd and ends April 21st
  • There are no classes the week of Knox County Spring Break (March 9th-13th)
  • This is a drop-off event for kids ages 5-10. Parents can stay in the store or run errands (we have an awesome indoor playground and sensory playroom for younger siblings)
  • Kids can sign up to attend multiple classes for an immersive art experience
  • This $100 payment is the class materials deposit, the remaining tuition of $100 will be sent to you by email invoice the first week of January 2026.
