Kids Creative Clay Classes: My students absolutely love this class as they get to work with various kinds of hand building and sculpting clay, texture rollers, and clay tools to create a fun variety of sculptures, bowls, and creatures. They will create several projects during the semester that involve kiln firing and glazing, learning how to use armature for sculptures, and how to add mixed media art materials to add details and individual creativity to their clay masterpieces! 

Kids Painting & Mixed Media Art Classes: Students will create impressive projects as they paint with Artist level paints on canvas and wood, create using oil pastels and watercolors, spin art, and with mixed media materials as they learn cool Art History and Fine Art techniques in this fun class.
 
STEAM Classes (Science +Art): Students will spark their imagination and creativity as they learn how to create through experimenting, and learn about science, tech, engineering, and math and how it relates to art. This includes the study of animals, nature, creating geometric and dimensional Art, how buildings and sculptures are designed, mixing cool recipes, adding different textures into paint, and the science behind using gravity and spin techniques in art. Students will create with paint, clay, paper mâché, fiber arts, and mixed media art materials in this class. 

Homeschool Creative Art Classes: Students will make impressive projects as they explore with paint on canvas and wood, create using oil pastels and watercolors, make creations with clay, and design masterpieces with mixed media art materials while learning about cool Art History and Fine Art techniques in this fun class!


All Classes are designed for Elementary age Kids and are drop off!
​Students may sign up for multiple classes for an immersive Art experience. 

​Weekly Art classes are simply the best as my Art Studio is happily busy with colorful paint moving on canvas, clay taking shape, and creative kids making amazing masterpieces they are excited to take home!

As an Artist and Elementary Art Teacher, I enjoy making new and exciting lessons and always look forward to seeing what my students create while providing a fun, safe, and "ok to make a mess space" for that to happen! 

Creative Art Classes and Summer Art Camps with Miss Shelley are a favorite "Fun Activity for Kids to do in Knoxville!"
She teaches Fine Art enrichment in schools and studios and has enjoyed doing events at Dolly Parton's DreamMore Resort and Dollywood, taught the Pro Golfers kids on the PGA Tour, and has been a featured Art Instructor on the Living East Tennessee TV show with Kelli Smith & Erin Barnett, ABC/WATE, Knox News, WVLT, Macaroni Kid, and Knoxville Moms. ​
